The Phoenix is an ancient Japanese breed of chicken tracing its heritage back over a thousand years! Phonexies are a high-maintenance breed, requiring special care in order to keep their tail feathers in good shape.





Characteristics: A combination of black and silver. Cocks have long tail feathers, which at one point could reach a length of 15-20 feet however they now only reach an average of 5 feet. Requires special housing or cages and high perches to accommodate long tails; generally docile
